Most of the damage comes from Hatred spenders fired by Sentry, so their positioning is crucial to success. It also buffs Vengeance and Companion, but their contribution to the overall damage done is next to zero.

Running low on Discipline means either a huge loss in speed or defense and usually leaves you in trouble during a fight. It regenerates very slowly and has only few other sources of replenishment.
